Ragtime

One of my favourite genres of music is Ragtime piano and no-one wrote better ragtime than Scott Joplin. Everyone in the western world has heard at least some of his work whether they realise it or not. All of his pieces are technically brilliant, full of expression and have the power to move while still not sounding out of place in a pool or snooker hall. A real classical composer who forced the world to take his genre seriously.

I intend to post my favourite rags here (which will probably be a lot because I like them all!).
